  "Let's Put on a Play" is a unique field trip opportunity for students to experience live theatre in a fun & creative atmosphere. During this 2-hour field trip to The Savannah Children's Theatre, students will rehearse & perform a 30-minute musical with professional actors on the SCT staff. After 90 minutes of private rehearsal, your students will join together on stage in front of their peers, teachers & chaperones for a musical comedy experience like no other!

Each musical is chosen by the teacher to coincide with their current curriculum. From American History to Shakespeare, from Weather Science to Health & Nutrition, we have just the right musical for your class.

History 13 Colonies*       -History of the formation of the first 13 colonies of the United States of America rudely interrupted by the history police. The Incredible Westward Movement      -A Musical chronicling the Louisiana Purchase and expansion into western territory Turkeys Go on Strike*      -It's Thanksgiving and Turkeys have come up with a better solution for the pilgrims first harvest dinner... Great Americans of the 20th century      -A review of some of the great thinkers and doers of the past century. Including the Roosvelts, the Wright Brothers,  Martha Graham, Georgia O'keefe and many others. U.S. Presidents: Washington to Lincoln      -Join us on a tour through time to discover the first sixteen Presidents and other important heads of state. U.S. Constitution      -An in-depth look into the history and ideals of our country's Constitution and the people who made it possible.

Aesop's Fables Deluxe      -Reenact some of Aesop's most beloved fables, including The Tortoise and the Hare, The Fox and the Grapes, and The Ant and the Grasshopper. Geology Rocks      -Join Sherlock Holms and Watson on a quest to find the missing Professor Rock The Garden Show      -Aliens from the planet Chlorophyl learn about Earth's eco system. Rumpus in the Rainforest      -Learn about Rainforst preservation, flora, fauna, and medicinal herbs. Its Electrifying!*      -Discover the wonders of electricity from ohms to watts and learn about the pioneers of this field. Vacation on Mars      -Journey through the solar system from the Sun to Pluto courtesy of Betty's Bargain Basement tours. The Weather Show      -Join Ralph the Weather Dog on a quest for the ancient barometer while learning about meteorology. Hansel & Gretel Eat Right!*      -Hansel & Gretel leave their parents gormet kitchen in search of JUNK FOOD!!! Character Building

Bullies Anonymous      -Tips and tricks on how to face even the toughest bully, in or out of school. Dude, Where's My Lungs?      - Discuss the dangers of smoking in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Character Matters      - Attend a meeting of the Fairy Tale Advice Council and discover why the Big Bad Wolf was so Bad and the Evil Stepsisters were so...well...evil!	3-8   5-9   1-6

Looking for an exciting new way to bring the arts to your school? Let our professional SCT players come to perform an unforgettable one-hour classic play or let us bring Georgia History to life for your students with out Interactive Game Show. Audience participation, sound effects and laughter required!

Cows Don't Fly & Other Known Facts
     -Join us in a world where extraordinary things happen on a regular basis! Based on the popular children's book series by Paul Brett Johnson, the zany characters in this play are sure to ignire the imagination of every child!

Who Wants to be the World's Greatest Georgian?
     -Test your knowledge of Georgia History in this educational TV-game-style romp through the pages of our state's great past. What's your final answer?
