CAMP CREATIVE ADVENTURES, PreK-1st Grade: This half-day camp held at Savannah Country Day School is the perfect way to introduce young children to the concept of theatre. The camp focuses on creative play, storytelling & basic problem solving in a group setting. Each day uses different stories, songs & costumes, & includes a take-home art project. Camps are $130 each, a $75 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration.
     Class begins with an introduction and warm-up, followed by a story reading and story discussion. Campers use creative dramatics to explore a new story each day, using books, music, art and creative group play.
     There are four one-week sessions of this camp being offered- July 5, July 12, July 19, and July 26.

CAMP ON WITH THE SHOW, 2nd-12th Grades: OWS campers will begin their theatre camp experience by auditioning for the chosen musical. Students will then rehearse & perform a full-scale theatrical production that is uniquely their own! Camps are $375 each, a $75 non-refundable deposit due at the time of registration.
     Every morning, campers will attend classes in Music, Dance and Technical Theatre. After lunch, our Daily Enrichment class offers a new topic of theatre everyday, including improvisation, diction, creative movement, theatre etiquette and more. The afternoon consists mostly of rehearsing for the chosen play and a healthy snack. Performances of the play or musical are held the final Friday, Saturday and Sunday of camp.
     There are three different age groups for this camp. Camp for rising 2nd thru 8th graders have two different opportunities to join us- June 14-25 will be the camp days and the show will be June 25-27. The shows performed during this camp will be "Pocahontas" and "Huckleberry Finn." The next camp for this age group will be July 5-16 with the show dates being July 16-18. The two shows that are performed at the end will be "The Pirate Show" and "Wipeout."
     For the age group of Rising 6th thru 8th graders, the camp will be July 19-30 with show dates of July 30- Aug. 1. The show being performed will be "High School Musical 2."
      The final age group for this camp is rising 8th thru 12th graders. The camp dates are July 19th thru 30th and the show dates are July 30- Aug 1. The show being performed will be "Anything Goes."
