Be part of the magic of SCT on Stage!

We hold auditions throughout the year. Most open to all ages, 7 (& in 2nd grade) to adults

The theatre is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment and will consider all auditioners, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability. We encourage anyone who is interested to audition. Every auditioner will be considered for any role unless the race, age or gender of a character is integral to the story or has been explicitly specified by the playwright and required by the production contract.

SCT ENCORE AUDITIONS

SCT Encore is for those who wish to explore more mature themes on stage. Minimum age to audition is 16.

Audition form registration will be available April 1-May 1

Items that will need to be submitted:

  • A Resume

  • a Headshot

  • completed audition form

  • video (16 bars) of an up-tempo number

  • Video (16 bars) of a ballad

All roles are available. All roles are volunteer. All abilities & ethnicities are encouraged to submit. Break a leg!

Show Dates:

July 3-5, 9-12, 2026

What to expect?

  • Auditions are usually held on a Monday and/or Tuesday evening. 

  • If auditions are listed for 2 days, you only need to attend one.

  • Please prepare to be at auditions for up to 3 hours. 

  • You may be contacted by phone in 1 or 2 days or up to a week after auditions.  All who auditioned will be contacted, even if they are not cast in the production.

  • Some auditioners may be contacted to come in for a callback.  If you are not called for callbacks this does not mean you are not cast.

How should i prepare?

  • Unless specified, you do not need to have anything prepared. 

  • Please come dressed to move, to sing, and read from audition sides.

  • Everyone will be provided with the materials needed and will be taught choreography and music at the audition.

  • We cannot guarantee that you will be reading for any one role.
